Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) is revolutionary 3D printing technology which enable user to produce their prototypes 4 times faster than any other industrial 3D printer in the planet. Hewlett Packard`s patented 2D printing technologies has been used as a base in the construction of this unique technology. It was first release in 2016 and it is one of the most popular 4 technologies in the world.
It is a powder bed technology just like SLS but it uses special fusion technique while combining the powders. Therefore it is more faster and has better surface quality comparing to SLS.
Different materials can be used in MJF but PA12 is one of the most preferred materials of our users. It is both flexible and strong. Therefore, for rapid prototyping purposes it is inevitable to use PA12 powder.
Although it is very optimum for prototyping use, it is also a very good alternative for pre-series productions. Due to its unique speed and material properties, some of our customer use it on their low volume manufacturing needs. We can produce up to 2000 parts within 10 hours in our MJF 4200s.
On the other hand, MJF is very low-cost manufacturing technique. Our pricing is based on very basic calculation. You can use our instant quote tool which is placed at the top-right of this page for your parts and see how affordable it is.
These are some of the advantages of using MJF technology;
- 10x faster than any other powder bed additive manufacturing method.
- Better surface quality
- 2 times cheaper than other industrial 3D printing services
- Flexible and strong PA12 and PAGF20 material can be used
- You can produce airtight and watertight parts by MJF.
